Town of Hempstead Vaxmobile Heads To Island Park This Week

ISLAND PARK, NY — The Town of Hempstead welcomes residents this week to get a free COVID-19 vaccine. The town's Vaxmobile, coordinated with Mount Sinai South Nassau, is providing the shots on Tuesday at Island Park Library. It is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walkups are permitted, but supply is limited. To schedule in advance, call Mount Sinai South Nassau at 516-377-5333 or sign-up online.
