JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative (Floater)
Location: Northern California
Multiple East Bay Locations
Overview:
We are a leading self-storage management company with various locations in the Bay Area. We are seeking a full-time Floating Service Attendant/Office Assistant with great customer service skills, can complete maintenance duties on the property and have sales abilities to rent vacant self-storage units. This position will be required to work outside on the property and travel to multiple locations in the Bay Area. Must be able to work weekends.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure property, self-storage units, and grounds are cleaned and maintained.
- Provide tenants with move-in assistance.
- Must be able to perform the company's sales process
- Fix minor repairs and perform unit lock checks.
Travel:
- This position will be required to work and travel between one or more of the twenty-one (21) Bay Area facilities during one workweek.
-Monthly travel allowance of $340 and toll reimbursement or the option to use a company car.
-Attend meetings off-site for company training.
-Drive the Move-In Truck to the service station for gas or an oil change
-Drive to the hardware store for property repair or maintenance items.
-Drive locally to purchase office supplies.
License:
-Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license
-Ability to pass a forklift certification test to operate and use the forklift.
