Description
We are looking to hire an entry level Construction and Staging Logistics Assistant to help our team with various tasks that arise on remodeling projects, staging jobs and helping our family function. A Jack or Jill of All Trades if you will! :) Our company primarily works in San Francisco, though we are based in Oakland, so you will need dependable transportation. Responsibilities: * Assist with installing furnishings for residential real estate properties that are in the process of coming to market. This includes unpacking items, making beds, steaming fabrics, carrying heavy bins to be loaded back into the warehouse (sometimes down several flights of stairs), etc. *De-stage homes independently. This includes but is not limited to wrapping up fragile items, directing movers, packing and labeling bedding, removing art and patching holes, and ensuring that no staging items are left behind. *Shopping runs, such as last minute accessory or plant pick ups *Pick up and drop off materials at construction jobs *Open and quality check deliveries of construction materials and staging furniture/decor; inventory, label, and sort items by project name *Organization of warehouse to ensure that items are stored and labeled in their correct location *Light office maintenance such as filing documents by project name *Organize, label, and maintain storage of extra building materials (lights, hardware, etc.) after project completion so that materials are easily found and accessible Requirements: *Must be able to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects at once, and be EXTREMELY detail-oriented *Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (we may ask you to transport smaller items), and a clean driving record. Mileage will be reimbursed. *Physically able to lift 40-50 lbs. This is a labor intensive job with many hours spent on your feet carrying bins and furniture that weigh 40-50lbs *Professional manner and appearance; respectful with all clients and team members *Flexible schedule. This will be part time to start, about 10 hrs a week, but may grow to a full position *Smart phone with photographing and texting capabilities, access to computer/laptop Pay rate is $25-$30/hr, depending on experience. COVID considerations: We currently still require face masks while staging homes or interacting with team members or clients. This policy may change as COVID circumstances continue to evolve.
