Car On Nassau Street Used For Shooting Practice: Police

UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are investigating after a car in Uniondale was seemingly used for target practice early Sunday morning. According to police, officers responded to a call for shots fired at 4:05 a.m. near the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Jerusalem Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found an unoccupied car with multiple bullet holes in the door, and about 20 spent shell casings littering the ground. The officers could not find any witnesses in the area. No one was injured. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
