Chelmsford has always honored our Veterans. In the past several years we have continued to honor our wartime Veterans in a variety of ways; monuments, street signs, plaques, bridge dedication. We want to preserve and document the stories behind these newer Veteran tributes. Working with Barbara Kampas, researcher and documentarian, we have collated a wealth of information attributed to each of these memorials along with newspaper articles which provide additional insight into the individuals honored and family members. We hope you enjoy learning more about these 14 signs / memorials that can be found throughout Chelmsford.
