Here are the top stories today in Buffalo: Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper has completed another massive waterfront project – transforming the shoreline at North Tonawanda Botanical Gardens. The project cost almost $450,000 and has been in the works for around a year now. A large portion of the botanical garden's parking lot was uprooted and replaced with manmade wetlands, trees, and plants. (WIVB.com - News 4)NY CREATES will sell tools and equipment previously used by Tesla and Panasonic at the Riverbend plant. The tools and equipment used at Riverbend were originally purchased by the state for approximately $128 million. According to Jason Conwell, a spokesperson for NY CREATES, says they have sold $39 million in equipment to date. The sale of the equipment will make room for Tesla to install tools they have purchased to ramp up and expand operations. (WKBW-TV)Yesterday morning, the Buffalo Fire Department put out a fire on Huntington Avenue at around 7:30. Officials say the fire started on the third floor near an air conditioning unit, but the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
