By Cecilia Lenzen, Fort Worth Report October 18, 2021 Singer Lorena McNahon, AKA Lorena Leigh, was ready to meet as many new people in the music scene as she could when she moved to Fort Worth in 2018. Transitioning from an eight-year stay in New York, the Keller native had a hard time getting involved in the growing Fort Worth music scene. Through some different networking events, she heard about Amplify 817, a music streaming service offered by the Fort Worth Public Library that offers a platform to exclusively local artists. McNahon was immediately pulled in, she said. "Whatever there is to do in music that's part of the community, I want to be part of that," she said. To read the full article, click here.
