Hey everyone, hope everyone is having a great start to the week. My name is Juan, I'm a bass player and currently am playing with a drummer and a singer at the singer's house once a week. We sound good. We're looking for a guitarist to learn the following songs and come in and try and see if the fit works. We have practiced extensively as a rhythm section and had just landed some gigs when the guitar player suddenly moved away. - We are mostly looking for 25-45 year old but hey, if you've got the skills then age ain't nothing but a number. We play a lot of mo-town and funk, I'm on a 70s Jazz bass and know how to play for the song, instead of overplaying. I'm a semi-pro musician. The singer has a great voice and the drummer is also very talented, we also have a female rhythm guitarist who sings with us. She has a great voice and between the four of us, it's a rare and beautiful thing.... we can produce some very awesome. Keyboardist? Horns? The right guitarist? We're looking to get serious about gigging as the winter season approaches. We're really looking for a keyboardist and a guitar player, although we have one guy for guitar up for serious consideration, anything is possible. Priorities are to who can show up to practice once a week and is available for gigs. We meet up in Ft Lauderdale once a week, send me a text and I'll shoot you the set list. Basically goes like: RHCP - Soul to Squeeze Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire Sublime - Santeria Play that Funky Music RHCP - Under the Bridge I'll send you the complete list once you contact me, but it would be a good idea to learn one of those songs so I can hear what you're working with. If you're a complete guitar player, then we're officially a complete unit, and can start talking about names and gigging. Please be humble, and have a good attitude. I promise you without being a cocky douche, I'm a hell of a bass player and you'll have a blast playing with us. I am located in Boca Raton, but we practice once a week in Ft. Lauderdale.
