Press release from the School City of Hammond: October 18, 2021 SCH remains dedicated to educating and keeping our students safe every day. Schools in Indiana are required to do an Active Shooter Drill, in which schools simulate, with the help of police, what it could look and sound like in the event of an active shooter in the building.
