Description

By John Gibson, WNIN Oct. 18, 2021 A historical and potentially spooky tour of Evansville's Oak Hill Cemetery is set for Saturday evening. The Oak Hill Cemetery and Arboretum Twilight Tour features re-enactors portraying people who are laid to rest in the cemetery. It's hosted by the Vanderburgh County Historical Society and the Evansville Adopt an Ash Program. The event raises money to fight the Emerald Ash Borer, which kills ash trees. Tickets are $15 and available via Pay Pal and at the event. The tour starts at 5:00 p.m. Saturday. WNIN is the NPR/PBS affiliate in Evansville, Indiana. We serve Southwestern Indiana, Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois from our multimedia facility located on the Ohio River in downtown Evansville.
