flag me if you want like some other person did for free speech but that will make me post indefinitely. I heard a dodge service advisor tell a customer a lie and thought I'd share it with you. I never go to dealers to work on my vehicles I do all my own work however my Dodge has three recalls that I've been trying to get this dealership to fix for all year. I went down to the dealership to complain about what was the slow process about when I overheard the service advisor call a customer with a quote. The service advisor advised the customer the reason the vehicle was overheating was a hole in the radiator therefore the radiator needed to be replaced. He then stayed it to the customer in order to replace the radiator they had to disconnect the AC Freon lines and recharge it and the total would cost $1200 in change not to mention the vehicle could use spark plugs and oil change. I don't know where this guy got his figure but it was complete BS. You do not need to remove the freon lines that are connected to the condenser on the outside of the radiator to remove the radiator which is connected to hoses that connects to your engine and puts antifreeze in. Now home mechanic can probably buy a $5 putty patch and fix the hole themselves but even if they had somebody put in a new radiator at $150 for the part it's 1 hour worth of work. Let's say that shop charges $150 an hour that's a $300 quote I don't know where that guy made up $1200+ but definitely a crook trying to take advantage of customers. This was the arrigo Dodge dealership on Okeechobee boulevard in West Palm Beach. The service advisors name was Joshua.
