CHATHAM, NJ — Four candidates running for Chatham's Board of Education from Chatham Borough have committed to take part in a virtual forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Morristown Area. The forum is planned virtually to stream at 7 p.m. on Monday Oct. 25 on the League's YouTube channel here. Residents may submit questions for the candidates to the League of Women voters on this form here through Saturday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. In a contested election, there are four seats overall available for the Chatham Borough of Education, three for the borough and two for the township. For the borough seats, there is one, three-year seat open and two candidates, incumbent Ann Ciccarelli and opponent, Lara Freidenfelds. There is additionally a one-year, unexpired term that is open, which incumbent Chris Delsandro is running for, with Brian Hargrove a challenger. Ciccarelli, Freidenfelds, Delsandro and Hargrove will all be taking part in the forum. There are additionally two, three-year seats open for township representatives, with Michelle Clark and Lata Kenney, incumbents, running for their seats, challenged by Kyle Roberts and James Nau.
