The Linden at Murrieta, a Leisure Care senior living community, will host a walk for breast cancer awareness on Friday, October 22, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The event will have live entertainment, a food truck, giveaways, and t-shirts for guests. Residents will walk on a path around the community.
This event is co-sponsored by the Linden at Murrieta and the Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball Team, along with Dr. Amy Miller, Brightstar, Great Life Senior Care, Vitas, Accent Home Care, Habitat for Humanity, Shella Care, and Sonata Hospice. Thunder, the mascot for the Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball Team, will be in attendance.
"This walk will be a lot of fun, it's for a good cause, and it's uniquely designed with seniors in mind," says Jennifer Yokum, Sales Advisor for the Linden at Murrieta. "Our community members will be raising awareness for breast cancer, socializing, and staying active, all in our space that prioritizes seniors' walking needs."
This is an outdoor event. To enter the building, guests will be asked to show proof of COVID vaccination or negative COVID test results within 72 hours of the event.
Those interested in attending may RSVP to 951-477-5678 or [email protected].
