I took in a stray black male cat a few years years ago. He is now around 5 years old and has since been neutered and maintained of all appropriate vaccinations. Recently, he has started urinating in my house. I have spoken with the vet several times and he has been given several rounds of antibiotics due a a suspected UTI. However, this did not solve the problem. I can no longer keep him in my house due to this issue. However, I have several big dogs in my neighborhood and I am afraid that he will not survive outside of my house due to this. I am hoping someone would be willing and interested in taking him in, possibly as an outdoor cat due to this issue. I would prefer he go to a home without large dogs to ensure his safety - or at least to a home with cat-friendly dogs. He is a very sweet and loving cat and I hate to be in this situation, but he unfortunately can no longer live inside my house. Please contact me if you are interested.
