Established band seeks drummer/equal band member. We are two guitar players and a bassist, and we need a drummer. We have been together for over 10 years, and have a song list of about 75 tunes. They are classic rock, Chicago blues, originals, folk. The classic rock songs we do are usually "deep album cuts" more than the typical hits from those bands. If you bring songs to us, we will learn and play them. We understand their will be a learning curve for you, since we already have a song list. No problem, as long as we make some progress from week to week. We have a rehearsal space, and there there is a set of drums there for you to use. That said, we would expect you to have your own kit and be willing to haul it to gigs. Or if you have a rehearsal space, we could play there. We were gigging 1 - 2 times/month before COVID. We have no gigs currently on the schedule. (Speaking of COVID, we are interested only in fully vaccinated players to be in the band.) We recognize that enjoying each others' company is the most important thing for band members. We need a reliable individual. You don't need to be a pro-level studio player or play flashy parts, just to be steady and willing to play for the songs. We don't care if you copy the original parts or play something else, as long as you honor the song's feel. None of us have much interest in copying parts... It would be a bonus if you sing leads or harmony but certainly not a deal-breaker if you don't. If this sounds like a good opportunity to you, get back to me and we can discuss. My name is Ben.
