JOLIET, IL — With Halloween just two weeks away, motorists around the Joliet area are out in full force checking out neighborhood Halloween decorations. One of the most popular stops this month is the home of Kelly and Hoyt McKenzie at 1619 Avalon Ave. Their yard features babies, clowns, monsters and skeletons including static and electric props. They live two blocks south of Black Road. "We average anywhere from 75 to 100 (people) a night," Kelly McKenzie told Joliet Patch on Saturday night. "Halloween night we will be out. I will be dressed up handing out candy. We will have regular candy, plus we will be doing allergy free candy this year for kids that may have allergies."
