STILLWATER, MN — Students in Stillwater Area Public Schools can now pick up coronavirus tests to take at home as the district continues to navigate the ongoing pandemic.
District officials announced last week that free test kits are available in school health offices. The district is offering students free saliva-based tests kits from Vault Medical Services.

The tests can be taken at home and returned to Stillwater Area High School, Oak-Land Middle School or Stillwater Middle School before 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays to be delivered to the laboratory, officials said in a news release.
The district recently ordered BinaxNOW at-home testing kits, which it expects to receive by mid-November. Students can use these nasal-swab tests to get rapid results.
