Press release from the Town of Davidson: October 18, 2021 This fall, Davidson residents will have the opportunity to vote for mayor and five commissioners, each of whom will serve a two-year term beginning December 2021.   One stop early voting will be open October 21 through October 30 as follows: The Mecklenburg County Board of Elections has added the Davidson Public Library to its early voting locations, and registered voters from any precinct are permitted to vote there. During early voting, voters can also vote at several other locations, including Cornelius Town Hall and the North County Regional Library. At the Davidson Public Library, Board of Elections signage will direct voters in and out of the building, and mask wearing and social distancing will be required. The library will be open for its regular hours, and library staff will be on hand to help its patrons.  Election Day is Tuesday, November 2, and polling places will be open 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. On November 2, Davidson residents must vote at their specific precinct location. This includes precincts 127 (Hopewell Baptist Church) and 206 (Davidson Town Hall). Residents of Davidson Pointe will vote at the Mt.
