Last Wednesday on Loch Raven Blvd, a young woman rolled her window down and called out to me "Excuse me." I looked over ( I also had my window down) she said "You have a really nice car."
Puzzled about her comment ( I drive a white 2015 Honda Civic not a luxury car). I said "Thanks."
She said "You're welcome."
I said "Ok then..."and rolled up my window as did she.
Her tone and attitude was smirky but I couldn't figure out why. Later I realized my car was dirty. I have a lot of trees and birds in my neighborhood and they do their business so I guess she was teasing me about my dirty car. I wanted to say that day was my first day out of quarentine after having Covid's Delta variant (yes I'm vaccinated). I was able to get to a car wash the following day. Maybe stop and think that the person you're teasing has more going on than what you think and that it's not your business anyway.
And thanks again my car is really nice.
