November 14, 2021, from 1:30-4:30pm Join the Potomac River Jazz Club for a fall special with Halley's Hot Gumbo Swingtet. The Hot Gumbo Swingtet plays traditional jazz and Swing. Formed in 2014, the band has performed for Great Gatsby parties, dances at Glen Echo's Spanish Ballroom, and for the PRJC. Halley Shoenberg, on clarinet and sax, will be joined by David Erickson on trumpet/cornet, Kirsten Warfield on trombone, Craig Gildner on piano, Willie Clark on tuba, and Alan Dale on drums. Just minutes off the Capital Beltway 495. Take Georgia Ave North 1/2 block, stay in far left lane. Left on Forest Glen Rd. Pass the Metro station. Right on Rosensteel Ave. Venue is on the right.
