LOOK at longest bridge in the world, 165km long bridge in China. The bridge decks are dead flat and the water level seems to be parallel the whole way along, at least as far as the photograph shows. I then calculated how much the water should have bulged along the length of the bridge if the world is a ball and found by simple Pythagoras that the water should have been about 450metres above the bridge deck in the middle of the bridge, but it is clearly not, the water level is flat, just like the bridge. This seems like a fairly reliable indication that the earth is flat. I would be happy to hear what other think of these approaches.
