ATLANTA, GA ***Multiple Temporary Positions | NEED TO HIRE ASAP*** Hiring for support of a temporary, large-scale, interactive art installation in mid-December 2021 _______________________________________ BIG ART INSTALL/STRIKE CREW $35/hr, 4-hr minimum, heavy lifting required. INSTALL Friday 12/10 8am-12pm STRIKE Monday 12/13 8am-12pm *We will be moving a large, steel sculpture off a truck and installing it in an exhibition hall booth, connecting to power, leveling and securing it to a wooden base. Then, doing the reverse on strike day. *Experience with electrical/lighting/basic carpentry is a plus. *Own basic hand tools is a plus. _______________________________________ ORIGAMI ASSEMBLY ASSISTANTS $250 day rate + meals + hotel (no travel stipend) Must be able to commit to ALL THREE DAYS 12/10-12/12 (Fri/Sat/Sun) *You DO NOT NEED ORIGAMI EXPERIENCE but if you have it, that is awesome, please let me know. *Our lead artist will train you in advance (paid) on how to fold simple origami pieces. *You will, in turn, teach conference attendees how to fold, and then install individual pieces on our HUGE ORIGAMI SCULPTURE. *Art, design, brand ambassador, teaching, customer service, event marketing backgrounds are a big plus. _______________________________________ HOW TO APPLY: Email with subject line "INSTALL/STRIKE CREW Firstname Lastname " or "ORIGAMI ASSEMBLY Firstname Lastname" depending on the role you are applying for, along with: *Your phone number *Location *Resume/CV if you have one *A few sentences about your relevant experience *2-3 references from past event work.
