Public Steel, Inc. is currently looking to fill a full-time pre-fabrication associate position. We are seeking applicants who are customer oriented team players. Previous experience with steel and/or metal working equipment is a plus. Job tasks would consist of using drill presses, metal shears, cutting torches, iron workers, and other steel fabricating equipment. On the job training would be provided for any unfamiliar equipment. Applicant needs to be hard working and able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, applicant must be able to accurately read a tape measure. Typical work week is Monday thru Friday with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Seasonal overtime is typical but usually contained within M-F. Some Saturdays are available but are often offered as optional not mandatory.
Starting wages between $13.00 - $15.00 per hour based on previous experience and industry knowledge.
Raise after 2 week training period.
