Missing, Short Hair Black Cat since the evening of 10.08.21 in the Morningside / Observatory neighborhoods.
By now, we feel that someone has found him, and chose to keep him. He may seem like the perfect cat for you, but he is part of our family, and it is not the same without him here.
If you have him, please contact us. If you know of someone who recently "got" a cat who matches the description, please contact us.
Hair in front of his ears is thinner than the rest of his head. Claws are intact. No collar, but is microchipped.
He has a very small light spot in the corner of his left eye, and may have a tiny pink scar on his nose.
He is an indoor cat (apprx 16 months), and as such don't believe he will stray very far from where we live.
We have been very diligent in our search throughout the Morningside / Observatory neighborhoods and gotten many leads for a black cat seen, HOWEVER, the strays in this area are long hair cats, not like our short hair cat.
There is a lost report with Larimer County Humane Society, Paw Boost, NoCo missing pets on FB, Craigslist, and the Nextdoor app. We are aware of the actions to take with a missing cat (food, cat blanket, litter {daytime only}, favorite cat treat...), and have done so, to no avail.
Thanks in advance for your help, and sharing across multiple social media sites, vet clinics, or cat rescues.
