After more than two years, the Friends of the Hailey Public Library Book and Bake Sale is back at a NEW location. This beloved community event will be held at the City of Hailey’s newly acquired Town Square Building, located on the corner of Croy and River Streets, in Hailey (formerly occupied by Copy N Print). The sale starts Thursday, October 21st from 9 AM – 7 PM, it continues on Friday, Oct. 22nd from 9AM – 7 PM, and culminates with the Bag Sale on Saturday, Oct. 23rd from 9AM – 3PM where bargain hunters can fill up a provided reusable bag with books and dvds for only $10. As you are browsing the thousands of books, books on cd and dvd’s donated, we will have a local’s bakery with delicious cookies, cakes, pies, bars and breads to provide sustenance.
Due to limited space and staff, we are currently not taking additional book donations. We have plans for a spring event and will appeal for book donations at that time. We appreciate the generosity of our book-loving community.
The Friends of the Hailey Public Library is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that raises funds to support the Hailey Public Library and community literacy. The funds raised from the book sale are used to augment library services, collections, and adult, and programs for all ages throughout the year.
