Seeking a part-time caretaker/laborer with construction and/or commercial property management/maintenance experience to assist with a 20 (+/-) acre property containing numerous historic structures located in Sykesville, MD. Position is a part-time, contractual position but could lead to a longer-term employment arrangement. Candidate should live within a 10 minute drive of Sykesville, MD. Duties will include: * Being on-call to respond to on-site emergencies. * Do regular drive-bys for security purposes. * Assist the owner in interacting with third-party contractors and maintenance crews. * Be present for property tours to give third parties access to buildings when the owner/developer cannot be present. * Perform light carpentry, selective building and site maintenance, trash removal, and landscape maintenance. * Other duties we may mutually agree upon along the way.
