The title says it all. There’s a lot of country on mainstream radio. And a lot of it sucks. Let’s make our own brand of country music. None of this slick Hollywood-Nashville sound that’s all formula and flash and no substance. I’ve got a bunch of songs written. But we can start out playing Willie and Waylon and George until we get our bearing. This ain’t my first rodeo, so I’m looking for seasoned players (i.e. you know your instrument, and you know how to play well with others). Looking for lead guitar/pedal steel, drums, and Fender Rhodes. If you sing harmony, all the better. I got a place to rehearse and get real loud. Please send links of you playing.
