The HT Group is partnering with one of Austin’s premiere distributors of originally craft-distilled spirits to find a detailed-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our second shift. This position assists with inventory counts and analysis to ensure all processes and procedures for inventory control are properly executed. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who has previous shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience.Contract to HireSouthwest Austin, TX2nd shift – M-TH, 5pm-3amPay of $20/hr Responsibilities: Monitor Work Order material activity in production facilityCompile, verify and report daily and/or periodic statistical information aimed at detecting trends to improve and maintain the overall health of inventoryResearch variances to determine appropriate root cause whether process or behavior and logs the information for operational reviewAssist in developing solutions to specific problem areasEnsure compliance to inventory processes and proceduresTake on additional duties as assigned Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control, in a manufacturing / warehousing environmentSelf-starter with ability to work with minimal supervisionAble to deal with competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective written, oral, interpersonal and communication skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); computerized warehouse management experience a plusStrong organizational, analytical and goal setting skillsLicensed or ability to become licensed for operation of forklift and/or picker (Material Handling Equipment)Physical ability to lift 20lbs or more on occasions
