Job description: As a Warehouse Associate at Austin Bazaar, your primary responsibilities will be picking and packing orders for musical instruments; managing product inventory; and loading and unloading trucks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work space. Austin Bazaar is a multichannel ecommerce retailer of musical instruments based in Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World. We sell everything from guitars and amplifiers, to pro audio and band/orchestral instruments. Job Duties: Pick items for orders as part of a team Operate inventory management software Communicate via email and instant messaging Load and unload trucks Maintain a safe, organized work space Keep up with fast-paced work environment Exhibit a can-do attitude Be a team player and follow instruction Demonstrate flexible attitude toward working in other departments as necessary. Job Requirements: Computer experience Reliable transportation (i.e., no ride sharing or buses; tardiness not permitted) Availability to work overtime if necessary (i.e., 7 am – 5:30 pm weekdays; occasional weekends) Ability to lift 50 pounds (e.g., guitar amplifier, digital piano) 18 years of age or older Drug test and background check.
