Employment position: kitchen exhaust cleaning and soda machine service technician. Cross-train as the work allows Full-time or part-time leading to full-time Hours: (day & evening). Varied hours depending on customers needs. Sundays are generally off. Compensation: starting at $20 going up to $30 with time and experience determining pay. Previous experience not required. We can train for the right candidate. Monthly dollar raise evaluations for the first 5 months. depeding on skills gained in training and ability to use those skills to become a capable technician with minimal direction and supervision needed. Location: Job sites are throughout Los Angeles and neighboring counties. We are based in the San Fernando valley, Ca Medical Benefits: After probation period and demonstrating that you can complete jobs efficiently without supervision and independently. *Requirements: work safely, including wearing non-slip boots and other PPE. Requirements -Present yourself clean and professionally, and well groomed. -have a clean valid drivers license and clean record - be able to lift 50 lb. or more at times when opening fans or cleaning equipment. Be able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments. -Pay good attention to details when completing assignments and tasks. Learn tasks and become efficient. Work opportunities and service calls are around the clock morning, afternoon, evenings, and some Saturdays. Flexible schedule available for employees that can complete service calls independently. Be able to complete work projects from start to finish, with limited or no supervision. It is essential that you have a clean driving record, have a current license, And have a clean criminal history to make higher wages. You must also have solid personal transportation that will allow you to meet at job-sites or meeting locations. Any work experience with kitchen exhaust, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire prevention or HVAC is a plus. Kitchen exhaust experience is not 100% required. We can train to our standards and procedures for the right candidates. Job duties include, but not limited to: maintenance and cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans. The set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless-steel hoods, high/low pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc. soda machine/ beverage machine repair and installation with tavern beverage and refrigeration. We also do some other types of exhaust cleaning and maintenance, and some minor repairs as your skill set allows for it.
