2 y.o. Male bearded dragon seeking EXPERIENCED new home. This dragon is NOT kid safe at all! What you should know: Duncan is a HARD dragon to handle. He bolts, thrashes, and tries to bite when you’re removing him from his tank or the tub after a soak. Admittedly, we did not handle him enough when he was a baby and now he is not comfortable with it. Normally, once you’ve got him he chills out, but be ready for a fight to get there. My husband seems to have an easier time getting him than I do, I usually end up having to use a towel to grab gum. I’m confident that with regular handling, he will learn to be ok with it. Unfortunately, with all the chaos in our lives right now, I just don’t have that extra time to offer him. Duncan eats Dubia roaches and super worms and is VERY picky about his veggies that he is willing to eat. I would NOT recommend hand feeding since he bites, but he tong feeds and will eat out of a bowl. He will come with his tank (40 gallon breeder), hide, hammock and bowls, all his lighting/heat sources and a digital thermometer/hydrometer combo…. but would probably like a tank upgrade soon. Duncan does best with carpet substrate, but you can use whatever you want. I cannot send our feeding rings ad we have other reptiles they are used for as well.
