Guitarist/Bassist Looking for Musicians

I am a Guitar/Bassist looking for local musicians to jam with, write music, maybe gig it it feels right. I been playing guitar for 15 years and bass on and off during that time. I didnt always have a bass, recently got one again. I'm fairly competent at bass but not profficient. 6 string Guitar is my primary instrument. I am, at my core, a metal head. Dable in other genres but not in any band setting, most bands I played mostly metal. In my experience its been difficult finding motivated, experienced musicians, especially in todays popular music climate, particularly for metalheads.
