Armenian Arts & Food Festival in Alexandria, VA, October 23-24! Armenian Arts & Food Festival in Alexandria, VA, will take place October 23-24. We are waiting for you all to join us and are planning an eventful program full of music and dance performances, including Kevork Artinian Entertainment, Shushi Armenian Dance Ensemble, Gevorg Chakmanyan, Marc 2Ray, and others. And, of course, plenty of delicious Armenian food during the whole weekend as well as crafts and activities for kids. Vendors market will include handmade clothing, toys, jewelry, books and paintings. Welcome to the Market Square of Alexandria's historic Old Town and enjoy Armenian culture at its best! Festival's menu will feature: Beef, Lamb and Chicken Kabobs, Lahmajun (Armenian style pizza), Dolma (stuffed grape leaves dish), Zhingalov Hats (traditional bread filled with herbs), Pahlava (a layered pastry made with walnuts), Gata (Armenian traditional pastry), honey cake and other food that will be available for purchase at the venue.
