We are a local dog walking company based in Brookline and Newton. We offer individual and paired neighborhood dog walks and specialize in force free pet care. We are currently seeking a reliable, responsible, and dog loving person to join our team of walkers. Our clients have come to expect a high standard of care and attention to detail, so effective time management and communicativeness are necessary traits for our employees. Other requirements are as follows: • Have at least partial availability Monday–Friday between 10am–4pm • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle • Be able and willing to work in all weather • Be committed to using modern force-free handling and training methods (paid training will be provided). • Have experience interacting with/caring for dogs. Previous professional dog handling experience and knowledge of behavior/body language is a plus but not required. Competitive pay and ability to pick up overnight pet sitting gigs if you would like. Pay is based on commission per completed service, starting at 50%, and consistently averages out to $19-$22 per hour. Total weekly time commitment is ~20–25 hours/week.
