Description

Learn about business in East Asia and how to prepare yourself to take advantage of opportunities in these markets East Asia offers so many opportunities for business despite the pandemic, threatened trade wars and global uncertainties. The region is a major market for Kansas products and services while being a major source of investment in Kansas manufacturing. While Kansas enjoys a healthy relationship with China, Korea and Japan, business in Asia requires a knowledge of international business and an appreciation for the cultural differences between the US and Asia. Masks are required for indoor activities at KU. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend University of Kansas sponsored events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please contact Mattie Stevens by November 8, 2021, at [email protected] or 785.864.2430. The Center for Global Business Studies (CGBS) encourages students to explore the global business context at the KU School of Business by fostering student access to study abroad, international internships and programs dedicated to connecting them to the broader world of business opportunity. For questions, please contact Mattie Stevens at [email protected] or 785-864-2430.
