Fall for Unique Woman's Coalition is an intimate gathering to explore the contributions from the first Trans-led organization in Southern California. Established in 1997, Unique Woman's Coalition was founded by community Pioneer Chela Demuir as a direct response to address the emerging needs of Black Trans community. Our Mission Statement: Unique Woman’s Coalition's (UWC) is dedicated to being a collective voice centering on the narratives and needs of black trans culture in Los Angeles. We're committed to fostering the next generation of black trans leadership from within the community through mentorship, scholarship, and community care engagement work. We can't do this life-changing work alone, this event is a call to action to activate our supporters; old and new to increase their involvement in impacting the lives of Black Trans community
