Join us for a Halloween-themed drive-in movie event in support of the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital! Join us on Saturday, October 23, 2021 to raise funds for critical research needs at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's. Beetlejuice - [Rated PG] 6:00 p.m. Gates 7:00 p.m. Start Please plan to arrive by 6:30 to get settled and order food before the movie starts! ------- Attendees will be able to pre-order concessions from Chitown Grille. Chitown Grille will deliver delicious popcorn, tacos, wings, pizza, kids meals and more to your vehicle as you enjoy the movie. And 20% of the proceeds will also go back to Comer Children's! Preview the menu here. Outside food and beverages are NOT permitted. ------- Comer Toy Drive: At the event we will also be accepting brand new toys & and brand new children's clothing with tags attached for the Comer Children's Child Life Department. We encourage you to bring an item(s) to donate to our patients and families. For ideas of what you could bring, see more information here! ------- Admission is $100 per car. 6' bubbles around parked cars to provide ample social distancing.Parking spots are assigned based on the order of arrival, no special requests will be accommodated. If you plan to attend with another vehicle(s) please coordinate and arrive at the lot at the same time.Weather may force the cancellation of a show, in which case we will ask you if you would like to be refunded for your tickets and/or donation. We will try and give you as much notice as possible but occasionally cancellations may occur the same day as the show. Light rain will not force a cancellation and once the lot is open we will not cancel mid-show unless extreme weather unexpectedly rolls in.------- All proceeds from the event will support research at Comer Children's through the RBC Race for the Kids at Comer Children's. Know how to keep your headlights off while your car engine is on or off. Should you be unable to turn off your headlights we can provide towels to black them outMonitor your car battery. Should it die, we have jumper cables to assist. The board generates support for the hospital’s groundbreaking research and distinctive patient care. By sharing information regarding the hospital’s programs, services, and special events with a wide range of audiences, the board serves as a vital link between the hospital and the greater Chicagoland community. The board has raised over $3.1 million for Comer Children’s since its founding in 2006.
