Come explore the haunted waterfront and see if any ghosts still linger here! Event Highlights: Kick off this Fisherman’s Wharf candy crawl at Ghirardelli Chocolate.Learn about the spooky and sometimes unsavory history of Fisherman’s Wharf (but we’ll keep it kid-friendly).Tour Pier 39 with stops at a few special locations for some candy-filled trick-or-treating.Get to know the ghosts of sailors and minors who once roamed the infamous Barbary Coast.Wear your best masked costume for a chance to win our costume contest, featuring a delicious prize.Begin at Ghirardelli Square, where we’ll start off Halloween right — with chocolate history and tasty treats at this famous factory. As we continue through Aquatic Park and part of the Barbary Coast, we’ll dig a little deeper into some of the sinister past of this scenic coastline and the legendary criminals who once made this area so dangerous. We'll even take you to the most haunted spot in Fisherman’s Wharf. (Don’t worry: it’s all family-friendly.) There’s plenty of light-hearted fun on our candy crawl, too. We’ll hang with the famous sea lions of Pier 39 and learn how they got here. And we'll have sweet stops throughout the tour at IT’S SUGAR, SF Chocolate Store, and more so you can load up on goodies.
