Join us for a session on the trends, companies, and people that make the energy sector such an electric space to launch or grow your career! ***This career event is for current Duke students only.*** Join Mike Brownell, President and Founder of Dayaway Careers – a leading renewable energy job board, networking platform, and resource center – for a session on the trends, companies, and people that make the energy sector such an electric space to launch or grow your career. The event will include an overview of the sector, a panel discussion with young professionals, a facilitated Q&A with Mike and the panel members, and a networking session for students. Whether you are curious about the sector or are already committed to working in clean energy, this event will help you figure out your next steps. Speakers will be joining remotely, but students are asked to attend in-person. Moderated by Stacy Peterson, Assistant Director of Student and Alumni Engagement at the Duke University Energy Initiative. Event capacity will be limited so that all attendees have the chance to introduce themselves, ask questions, and exchange ideas. Advance registration required. This event is organized by the Duke University Energy Initiative and Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, which are merging. A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE, so please register only if you are committed to attending. If your plans change, please cancel your registration so someone else can take part. The Duke University Energy Initiative is a university-wide, interdisciplinary collaboration focused on advancing an accessible, affordable, reliable, and clean energy system. The Initiative reaches across business, engineering, environment, law, policy, and the arts and sciences to educate tomorrow’s energy innovators, develop new solutions through research, and improve energy decisions by engaging business and government leaders.
