Gobble for Good is an annual Thanksgiving Food Drive put on by the Las Vegas Diamond Foundation and the Las Vegas members of KAΨ Frat., Inc. The Las Vegas Diamond Foundation has been serving the Las Vegas community for nearly 30 years through holiday food drives, awarding scholarships, and youth programs. This year, we have made a commitment to continue in this service to community by hosting our fourth annual Gobble for Good Thanksgiving Food Drive. The intent of this food drive is to help families in need who would not otherwise be able to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner.We reiterate, the intent of this event is for us to be able to feed families who are in need of food this Thanksgiving holiday season by ensuring that as many families can receive baskets of Thanksgiving food items, and other necessities, as possible. If you are such a family, or you know of such a family, please sign up to attend this event in order that we may provide these food baskets to you. Every year, food insecurity is an ever-looming issue that plagues families in the Las Vegas Valley. This necessity for food often becomes the most visible during the holiday season. As we slowly, but surely, continue to arise out of the COVID-19 pandemic, this issue plaguing communities which lack adequate access to food resources still compounds upon itself exponentially.If you feel as though you are a family in need, or know any families in need, please sign up to attend this event and/or send this out to other families who are in such a need. We will be providing meal baskets with items in enough abundance to feed a family of 4, but can provide more if need be.Items will be available for pick-up on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the following location at the following times:EVENT DETAILS- When: Sunday, November 21, 2021- Where: New Jerusalem Worship Center (1818 N M.L.K. Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89106)- Time: 3:00 pm - 6:30pm***Baskets will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Signing up as an event attendee will guarantee that you receive your basket.
