A discussion with community leaders about the decision County Commissioners will face whether to renew Covanta's Lease in 2023 The Doral Community Coalition invites you to an informational discussion with community leaders about the decision Miami Dade County Commissioners will face, in October of 2022, whether or not to renew the County's lease with Covanta at the Resource Recovery Facility located in our City at 6990 NW 97th Avenue. Our community has one year to make change. One year to come together and push for a meaningful solution. To do so, we have to understand the history of the odor issue and the current circumstances. We must identify options and pursue what's best for the residents of Doral.
