Nursery – Propagation Assistant We are a family owned and operated wholesale certified organic nursery in Sebastopol. We specialize in herbs, vegetables and perennials. We are seeking someone to assist in our plant production. This individual will work directly with head propagator. Great opportunity to learn all aspects of nursery production and operations. 7:00-3:30 Mon-Fri. Optional overtime in spring. Also open to flexible hours. MUST STATE AVAILABLE HOURS IN RESPONSE IF INTERESTED IN FLEXIBLE HOURS. Pay depending on experience. Duties: Take cuttings from our mother stock. Prepare seed and cutting trays. Cleaning surfaces and planting trays. Transplanting large and small plants (for long periods of time). Water and clean greenhouses and growing space. Assist in other areas of production and shipping as needed. Requirements: Interest and experience in horticulture. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Work in hot and cold environments. Comfort with being on your feet moving and bending all day. Speed and precision. Punctual and Responsible. Must provide proof of Covid vaccine at time of interview.
