Description

View a private screening of the award winning film "Shared Legacies" while enjoying free food and connecting with others. Spill the Honey Foundation's Goal is to enable EVERYONE to spread dignity, goodness, and kindness. The sweetness of honey should spill over, connecting people of ALL, faiths, and races. Beyond being an opportunity to learn and to network with others, this event aims to promote unity, and give people the opportunity to truly connect. The film tells the story of the historical coalition and friendship between the Black and Jewish communities during the Civil Rights movement. Beyond this, it inspires us and guides us to connect with others regardless of our backgrounds. Modern day racism, antisemitism, discrimination, and hate hurts us all. Shared Legacies serves as a blueprint for how individuals and entire groups can love one another, and come together to generate change and better our society. We promise you will leave the screening with a more open mind and open heart, as well as a stomach full of good (and free) food.
