TAMPA, FL — Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by attending the third annual Ford Taste of Latino Festival Sunday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Centro Asturiano de Tampa, 1913 N Nebraska Ave. in Ybor City.
From the creators of the Cuban Sandwich Festival, the Ford Taste of Latino Festival will include food by top Latin chefs, beer, wine, art, live music and dance performances with Vaya DJ and emcee Chris Maloof.
During the event, the Latin Times will present awards to Florida's Top 2021 Lideres (leaders).
Additionally, there will be a Top Latino Chef Contest with entries from a variety of Hispanic cultures including Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Peru and Venezuela, the Cuban Sandwich Winners Circle featuring the champions from the Cuban Sandwich Festival with competing for the best flan, tres leche, tapas, ceviche, empanadas, arepas, arroz con pollo, paella and other dishes.
VIP guests can enjoy a sangria contest, beer and cafe con leche plus taste the food contest entries.
Social distancing and masks are required to attend this event.
