Here are the top stories today in Salt Lake City: The opening of affordable apartments in a six-story building made out of recycled shipping containers will be delayed because of a shortage of materials. The coronavirus pandemic has caused global supply change problems, and the shipping container apartments are not the only housing development facing delays in Salt Lake City. Amanda Best, a specialist with the city's housing development program, said rents will range from $829 to $1,204 a month based on income. (fox13now.com) Salt Lake Councilman Dennis Faris revealed the Raging Waters water park land will be developed into a regional park, and community members will have a say on what goes inside. Many residents feel saddened to see the park be torn down, but they are also excited about what's coming. An official public engagement process begins next month, with a final decision in the summer. (KUTV 2News) A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Salt Lake City on Friday evening. Police say two men were involved in the stabbing incident, but they're not sure what caused the situation. Both men were taken to local hospitals for injury treatment and one of them was arrested. Authorities are investigating.
