Prog Rock Band Seeks Bassist

We’re a legit 8-10 piece group (Keys, Guitar, Sax, Percussion, Drums, Vocals, etc…) looking for an accomplished bassist for our 2022 Zappa season. First! Must have a passion for Zappa music. This isn’t a blues band or smooth jazz, it’s Zappa… it’s a little of everything, tricky, silly, juvenile, etc… Secondly must have a good sense of humor and be CHILL, it's Zappa for F's sake. Also must have reliable equipment and transportation. Able to gig from the Bay Area to the Foothills, Chico and the Sacramento area (NorCal region basically). Able to rehearse 2x a month and sectionals as needed. Able to read sheet music a plus, but not necessary. Lite drinking or 420 ok. Race, sexual orientation, gender, age not important (we’re a very diverse band). Lastly, we’re not in if for the Green, we’re in it for the Glory, we often donate a portion of our earnings to charity and pay it forward when we can.
