Things I prioritize: - songs that can be played acoustically or lightly amplified - vocal harmonies, including adding parts that weren't in the original (helps cover missing instrumentation) - key signature flexibility to accommodate vocalists - weekly rehearsal, gigs every 4-6 weeks max - songs that might appeal to super wide audiences (Porch Fest, Santa Cali Gon Days, First Fridays, BarBQues, etc.) Think parents bringing their kids along to see the show I can cover one of the vocals and guitars, bass or percussion. What can you cover? BTW I am fully vaccinated and can remember when songs had compelling chord changes, singers didn't use auto-tune and dance grooves were created that weren't tied to the grid. If you're also a deep well of experience and fully vaccinated then give me a jingle. I'd love to hear what you're up to.
