Well established & top performing Boston based cover band will be replacing our female singer of 5 years in 2022 to play bars, restaurants, weddings and private parties. This is a great gig for the right person who loves to perform. Lots of fun and good pay!!! We need the following:
Musicianship- Good intonation & range are essential. You will be singing male & female parts. If you strain to hit the high notes on say Don't Stop Believin', this is not the gig for you. Playing an instrument, reading & music theory are a plus- that way we are speaking the same language.
Versatility- You should enjoy all genres of music and be able to memorize lyrics or reference a tablet for hour long set lists playing songs back to back in a fast paced environment. We are a pop/rock/country/r&b dance band.
Stage Presence- You need to look the part and be at home on stage :-)
Availability- Plan on gigging most weekends. We are looking for a singer who is in one band only. This band!!!
Transportation- A car is a must. Most shows are on The South Shore but we often gig around Metro Boston, North Shore & South Coast.
