Hi Friends, I've been trying to get info on this. Any help is appreciated. I haven't called the city yet and anticipate the run around when I do. About two years ago, I was very happy to see vigorous road construction going on around Glen Avenue, Cedar Park and Farragut Roads. At the time I inquired about the city gas line expansion project and was told that eventually all neighborhoods were to get the vital utility. I thought, thank goodness I will eventually be able to replace the old oil burner with a new efficient gas furnace at my house near the stadium : ) Of course, in a perfect world, all utilities should be available to all property owners if possible. However, I heard the robust push to expand the city gas line to all neighborhoods,,, believe it or not, has been CANCLED. The reason seems to be opinionated. Apparently, they took sides in an environmental debate rather than doing their jobs providing needed infrastructure. I will tell you what I heard with your reply's.
