Description
Two beautiful harlequin mini rex bunnies looking for a new home! These two neutered boys need to go to separate homes or be kept separately. They used to be bonded, but recently have not been getting along. We had some changes in the house and since then they haven't been getting along as well. They are brothers, 1.5 years old, and have been with us since they were babies. Unfortunately due to changes at home we are no longer able to give them the attention and care they deserve and have sadly decided it is in their best interests to find a new home. Reasons why these bunnies are GREAT pets: They are snuggly and sweet! They cuddle (they lay belly up in our laps or in our arms and eat right out of our hands) and have never tried to bite us - and we've had them since they were 6 weeks old! They are pretty relaxed, tolerant guys. They are litter box trained! They always uses their box and we can let them run around the house without fear of them going to the bathroom outside the box. (Chewing is another story - be sure to protect your cords and chewable objects if you're not going to watch them while they're out of their pen.) They are already neutered and in excellent health! We have taken care of their healthcare needs since day one and feed top-quality foods and fresh veg. They are young and have a long life ahead - their lifespan is about ten years. They are absolutely stunning! They have a beautiful coat, incredibly soft (Mini Rex are way softer than most bunnies), and are small guys - Mini Rex are little bunnies and they are full grown at about 4.5 pounds. No worries about a bunny that will grow up to be huge or ill-natured! They are used to living around cats and dogs - but of course since they are bunnies they are a bit skittish of them and prefer to find their own spot to chill. Barking doesn't bother them at all! They would love to find a new homes where they can get plenty of cuddles and affection! They do NOT come with any supplies - but I will send with you some of the food, hay and litter they are used to using to get you started. What they're used to: they live in a dog playpen with room to run around in (not a bunny cage), and cone out to spend time with us and explore. They use a cat litterbox, but with corn litter (clay litter isn't good for bunnies). They eat mostly hay, with some pellets and bunny treats. They love fresh veggies, especially lettuce and greens. Fresh veggies are the fastest way to their hearts! They also enjoy rabbit toys to chew on. Send me a message if you are interested, or if you have any questions. We are so sad to see them go, but hopeful they find wonderful new homes!
